Abandoned mine remediation projects
The Abandoned Mine Lands Program (AMLP) is managing legacy mining impacts at abandoned mine sites across Queensland.
This management ranges from active remediation programs including investigation, design and implementation activities, to care and maintenance programs and responses to abandoned mine notifications.
We’re investigating opportunities to re-commercialise abandoned mine sites and a pilot program is currently underway. Read more about the pilot program.
